Join us as we celebrate the release of our 2017 Pinot Noir Rosé! The 2017 vintage is made from 100% estate grown Pinot Noir from our B Block, which is in view of our tasting room.
In addition to our own, we'll also be pouring the newly released 2017 vintage from our sister wineries Glenora Wine Cellars and Knapp Winery all weekend long. For $1, you can sample not one, but three 2017 Dry Rosés made from Pinot Noir.
We'll also have Glenora and Knapp's Rosés available for purchase right in our tasting room!
2017 Pinot Noir Rosé Tasting Notes:
Aromas of spring flowers, such as lilac and tulip, and bright yet subtle flavors of strawberry with a hint of pomegranate on the finish.
Winemakers Notes:
The Pinot Noir was harvested at 23.5 brix and fermentation started with skin contact for 18 hours. It was then lightly pressed at 140 gallons per ton (low pressure) and treated as if it were a sparkling wine. Fermentation was finished in stainless steel at cool temperature for three weeks and stopping fermentation at the preferred sweetness. Racked and stabilized for just under four months, the Rosé was then filtered and prepared for bottling.
